Sona Lore

Nyxiabel is a Fae Chimera, an ancient Cryptid from the Anima Court that can take the shape of any animal, and has dominion over natural forces. While she can change shape at will, she has a preference for rabbits and deer, animals commonly seen as prey, even though she is more of a hunter herself.She is interested in books, tea and occult knowledge, even going as far as practicing magic forbidden to her kind. In her boundless curiosity, she opened a door beyond the known realms and peered into the Abyss, where the shadows of every world reside.In doing so, she became a vessel for it. Before she lost her mind to the Abyss, she managed to seal the open door within her right eye.Should the seal be broken, the door will once again be opened, and the Abyss might pour out into this realm...

the mascots

Nani is Nyx's personal guardian, a fairy sprite that takes the form of a white Jackalope. She is very bubbly, curious and affectionate, but can be very scary when angered.Grimm, on the other hand, is a creature of shadows that was accidentally summoned the first time Nyx unleashed the Abyss. He is a dark sprite that takes the form of a bat/cat hybrid. He is also very fluffy and cute, but doesn't like when others mention it.

You can call me Nyx! I'm a virtual creator, designer, artist and writer with a passion for creativity and self-expression.I'm a multiracial individual (Afro-latine with native heritage), currently based in Central America. I speak both english and spanish. I identify as Nonbinary and I use They/She pronouns, I'm also bisexual and a proud member of the LGBTQIA2S+ community.I'm also part of the Autistic + ADHD community (AuDHD), and I advocate for inclusivity, disability rights and acceptance, and the creation of welcoming spaces for neurodivergent folks.

What I do

I'm a visual designer (UX/UI) with more than 6 years of experience in the field. I'm also an illustrator and a writer with a passion for creating educational and visually appealing content.

My mission is to empower others to be creative, express themselves in exciting ways, and learn how to use software/tech tools to unleash their creativity. I also want to create a community where other people like me (neurodivergent BIPOC) can feel accepted and welcomed.My dream is to work with brands that are ethically conscious, socially responsible, and inclusive.

what i advocate for

I'm an advocate for mental health, LGBTQIA2S+ rights, BIPOC rights, disability acceptance and awareness. The communities and spaces I build are moderated to be inclusive, welcoming and respectful to people from all walks of life. I do not tolerate disrespect or mockery of anyone's identity or condition, and I firmly believe in the freedom of the Global South from oppresive regimes. My policy is anti-bigotry at all times.I also do not support AI generated content/art in the slightest, and do not collaborate with brands or individuals who use it.

I consider myself a variety content creator with a focus on cute aesthetics, soft sensory streams, lore analysis and media commentary. I enjoy games and media where I can personalize my fashion taste and create characters that fit my favorite aesthetics.

Art and creativity

I like showing my creative process when it comes to design and illustration, making tutorials for design/art software, and also building websites. I have an interest in 3D modelling that I'm starting to nurture. I also enjoy sharing resources to help other creatives on their paths.

Terms of Service

GENERAL
- I reserve the right to change the TOS as I see fit.
- I reserve the rights to decline any commission request.
- I reserve the rights to cancel your commission if I can't continue with the project (due to health or personal matters).
- You will be refunded in full if this is the case.
- I will not cover payment processing fees.
- All commissions are selective, not first come first serve.
- I retain all rights to the designs I create.
- I reserve the right to show the commissioned graphics as part of my portfolio.
- I reserve the right to post the graphics to my social media, in order to promote myself and my business.
- Make sure you own the rights to all the material used in any commissioned graphics. I will not use characters or assets that you do not own the rights to.PAYMENTS
- Payment will always be 100% upfront for me to start working (for smaller projects).
- If the total Payment is above 300.00 USD, you must pay at least 50% to secure your slot at the beginning and the rest when the final files are delivered.
- Waitlist slots are on a selective basis, but they don't require upfront payment.
- Payments will be handled through VGen. Final prices will include platform fees.
- If possible, please pay through VGen payments as this ensures I can get the money directly.
- If you issue a chargeback without warning, you will be blacklisted and you will not be able to access my services in the future.REVISIONS
- You get 3 rounds of revisions for minor changes.
- Bigger changes that require me to rework significant sections of the project will incur an extra fee.DEADLINES AND DELIVERY
- Please make sure to inform me of your deadline beforehand.
- Know that you should give me at least 2 months ahead of your deadline if possible.
- Bigger projects can take from 2 to 3 months to be delivered due to the amount of work required.
- Smaller projects can take up to 1 month to be delivered.
- Delivery files will be sent to you via VGen files, in ZIP format. You can request other methods of delivery if you want.USE
- You are allowed to use your digital assets for limited commercial purposes (streaming, videos, social media).
- If you choose the print/merchandise option, then you can use your assets for commercial printing purposes.
- You are not allowed to copy or reproduce the final designs for different purposes than those stated here.
- You are not allowed to redistribute or resell the original files, or allow other people to use them for profit in any way.
- You are not allowed to share editable files with other designers unless I have been informed and given explicit permission.
- You are not allowed to use your assets for NFTs or in AI software of any kind.
- Credit me as Nyx Gothica at all times.DELIVERABLES
- All files will be digital only. There are no physical deliveries.
- Your files will be delivered in PNG, WEBM, MP4, Figma or PSD format depending on the type of commission.
- After you receive the final files, it is your responsibility to keep them safe and back them up.
- I will not be held responsible if you lose your files in the future.COMMUNICATION
- All communication is handled via VGen DM's or Email ([email protected]).
- I will reach out to you once the commission is confirmed and the upfront payment has been made, to request any additional details or ask questions if needed. Please make sure to provide references and be as descriptive as possible in your requests, so I can provide a great service for you.
- You will receive your first update 7-10 days after your request is confirmed and paid for, unless otherwise stated. Please do not ask for updates during this initial period.
- I will be updating you weekly/bi-weekly with progress on the commission (usually during the weekends, or on mondays). Please do not pressure me if you've received a weekly update already.
- Please be polite and kind. I reserve the right to cancel an order if I'm mistreated by the client (racism, misogyny, homophobia, transphobia, ableism). You will NOT be refunded if the work has already been started in this case. I will cease all activities and blacklist you.REFUNDS
- No refunds will be made if I have already started the work and we're communicating with each other.Refunds will ONLY be issued if:
- The commission is cancelled BEFORE I start working on it. If it has been marked as WIP then no refunds will be issued. Please make sure you have the funds to commission me beforehand.
- The commission cannot be delivered at all for any reason on my part, which means you will get a full refund. If the work is partially completed, then you will receive a partial refund depending on how much of the work I completed. I will not cover payment processing fees.
